Just one little bite
Contributed by: Chris Richards on 6/28/2006

Samantha left her seat at Coors Field Friday, June 23, like a girl on a mission. She didn't care about talking to anyone or waiting for anyone to get out of her way. She didn't even care about the action between the Rockies and the Rangers out on the field. All that mattered to the almost three-year-old was she and Mommy were going to get ice cream.

Once back at her seat, Samantha found out the only competition wasn't on the field, because little brother wanted in on the action. At 19 months, Alexander knows exactly how to get his sister to share. Even when she was distracted by the camera, brother stayed true to his course. When she offered the ice cream to Alexander, Samantha wasn't above pulling it back if Mommy wasn't watching.

The game didn't end the way Colorado Rockies' fans wanted it to, but these two fans know the perfect way to spend a summer evening at the ballpark with their family.

How sweet! (Both the photos and the ice cream!) I especially love the last photo where Alexander has his mouth open wide for the big bite.
