Finding medical information on the web just got easier. Exempla Healthcare has introduced its new website and now, when you have questions about a medical condition, need directions, or want to locate a doctor, all you have to do is log onto www.Exempla.org.

The new website encompasses information for Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette and Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

This is our gift to the community; a place where patients and their families can find health, healing and hope; where we are committed to being the community's best partner in meeting the challenges of 21 st-century health care.

Here are some of the website's new features:

Ø Practical information on preventive care

Ø A medical library of 4,000 articles and 1,500 medical topics (Spanish version is also available)

Ø Classes, workshops and special events

Ø Video tours of our facilities

Ø An easy-to-use physician directory

Ø Care Pages - find out what the new baby looks like or how mom's doing after her hip replacement surgery. This is a free web service to help our patients and their families communicate and stay connected (this is a secure and private way of sharing information)

Visitors are welcomed by walk-on videos of our CEO's, employees and even our therapy dogs!

Our new website has been up and running for just about a month and so far, we've gotten more than 80,000 visitors. People are spending an average of 10 minutes exploring the site. (Previously only about 4,000 people visited our site each month, spending an average of one minute).

During the month of December, the first 50 visitors to complete a contest form each day will receive a $20 gift certificate from a local store.
