Area residents have 'second chance' for gifts

Dozens of volunteersparticipated in the Town of Castle Rock's Santa's Second Chance program Dec. 9, which uses thousands of dollars in traffic fines collected during a specific period to purchase holiday gifts for more than 100 disadvantagedarea residents.

Volunteers shopped for gifts at the local Wal-Mart and then wrapped them at Muncipal Court.

J.J. McCormack is community relations manager for the Town of Castle Rock.
