Youth get creative with pumpkins at library
Contributed by: Angela K. Copeland/YourHub.com on 10/25/2005

Young people gathered Oct. 23 at the Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock to decorate pumpkins for Halloween. Many of the decorators planned on entering their creations in the library's pumpkin decorating contest.

"We'll have six winners, three in teen and three in children," said Kimberly McDonald, youth assistant librarian. In each division an award will be given for most creative, most funny and most spooky. Judging is taking place Oct. 27, McDonald said, with winners receiving gift certificates and ribbons.
