Local churches join together for Thanksgiving service
Holiday celebration November 22 at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary at Christ's Episcopal Church
Kick off your Thanksgiving festivities by bringing your family and friends to a unique celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. at Christ's Episcopal Church, located at 615 Fourth Street in old town Castle Rock. Five local churches are uniting to offer their collective talents to the local community in an ecumenical Thanksgiving service. Clergy from all five churches will offer reflections and meditations, and the combined choirs will make the rafters ring with music. Newcomers and long-time community members alike will come together to celebrate and share in the joy of the Thanksgiving tradition.
Participating churches include
Christ's Episcopal Church, Faith Lutheran Church, First United Methodist Church of Castle Rock, New Hope United Presbyterian Church, and St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.
After the service, there will be a reception in the Christ's Church Undercroft. All are welcome to join together for coffee, cookies, conversation, and connection.
