The gift of your family’s history

Embark on a project to find your family's history. Philip S. Miller Library (100 S. Wilcox St., Castle Rock) is offering workshops on Monday mornings at 10:00 a.m. to noon through August beginning August 4. Bette Kot will show you how to research a portion of your family's history and turn it into a memorable gift for the holidays. Participants can sign up for any number of sessions. The free workshops will continue on Monday mornings through September. Registration is recommended. If you enjoy genealogy, the Castle Rock Colorado Genealogical Society invites you to attend its monthly meetings on the first Saturday of every month at the Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock. Saturday, August 2 at 10:00 a.m., Bob Simpson will discuss how to copy slides and film strips. No registration is necessary.
