Teen Fitness Month at the Library

October is Teen Fitness Month at the Philip S. Miller Library (100 S. Wilcox St., Castle Rock) and to celebrate, there will be fun activities in the library's Aloha Teen Tower all month! From Wii Fit to Dance Dance Revolution, there's something to get everyone moving:

Saturday, October 4 1:30-2:30 p.m. - Body Image Reality Check
Join us in the Aloha Teen Tower examine pop culture to discuss body image and the role that media plays in how we think about ourselves.

Saturday, October 11 1:30-2:30 p.m. - Eat This, Not That
There will be a cooking and eating demonstration in the Aloha Teen Tower for parents and teens. We will learn how to make good choices while eating out and how to prepare tasty treats with less fat.

Saturday, October 18 1:30-2:30 p.m. - Dance, Dance Revolution
Come to the Aloha Teen Tower to challenge your parents to a round of DDR to see who is the fittest.

Saturday, October 25 1:30-2:30 p.m. - Wii Are Fit!
Stop by to the Aloha Teen Tower to be the first to use the new Wii Fit. Measure your BMI and take the fitness test to see how fit you really are.
