Contributed by: Kristin Hayek on 10/3/2008

What's more exciting than the opportunity to meet a successful author? How about a chance to meet three best-selling novelists?! Join local authors Hilari Bell, Julie Anne Peters, and Denise Vega on Sunday, October 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Philip S. Miller Library (100 S. Wilcox St., Castle Rock) for a personal look at the writing life. The authors will share their experiences with the publishing world and answer questions.

Hilari Bell is the author of Rogue's Home: A Knight and Rogue Novel, Songs of Power, Sword of Waters, and the Farsala books. A "poster child for perseverance," Bell worked for seventeen years to get her first fantasy novel published. She lives in Denver with her family.

Julie Anne Peters lives in Denver and has been writing since 1989. She's authored many children's and young adult books, including grl2grl, Luna, Between Mom & Jo, A Snitch on the Snob Squad, and The Stinky Sneakers Contest.

Denise Vega is the author of several books for teens, tweens, and kids including Fact of Life #31, Click Here, and Grandmother, Have the Angels Come?
