Civitan Club completes cabin for disabled kids
Contributed by: Carol Murino on 5/12/2006

The Castle Rock Civitan Club members have completed their adopted Easter Seal cabin for disabled kids, located near Empire.

During April, members put in 211 volunteer hours on the cabin. The members put in new ceramic tile in the bathroom and shower, as well as painted the bathroom. Home Depot donated the tile while Hyder Construction in Weaver furnished some of the labor. New front blinds were donated by the Castle Rock Hunter Douglas.

The Castle Rock Civitan Club also is involved in many other projects including Relay for Life and the Elephant Rock bike ride.

Carol Murino is a member of the Castle Rock Civitan Club.
