Police blotter: Transients and cocaine

ANGRY TRANSIENT ARRESTED
A 63-year-old transient man was arrested July 13 after he allegedly threatened a man with a rock. A 26-year-old Englewood man reported the transient approached him at about 2:38 p.m. near the intersection of Ridgeline Road and Highlands Ranch Parkway. The transient allegedly threatened to kill him before threatening the man with a rock. Deputies tracked the man down and arrested him on suspicion of menacing and harassment.

COCAINE FOUND
A small bag of cocaine was found at about 2:11 p.m. July 14 by an employee at King Soopers, 7284 Lagae Road, in Castle Pines North. The bag, which tested positive for cocaine, was tagged for destruction.

WOMAN MAKES OFF WITH DRESS
The owner of Nobles Oblige Costumes, 650 W. Perry Park Ave., reported someone stole a dress from her booth at the Colorado Renaissance Festival on July 12. The owner stated a woman went into the dressing room to try on a $400 dress at about 3 p.m. and was never seen again.

WINDOWS DAMAGED AT SCHOOL
Four windows at Sand Creek Elementary, 8898 S. Maplewood Drive, Highlands Ranch, were shot out with a BB gun sometime between July 3 and 8. The damage was estimated at $1,550.

TOOLS STOLEN FROM CONSTRUCTION SITE
Approximately $2,500 worth of tools were stolen from a construction site on the 4800 block of Raintree Circle sometime between July 11 and 12. It also was reported that about $1,400 worth of tools were stolen from Franktown Fire, 2024 Colorado 83, sometime between July 10 and 11.

BUSINESS VANDALIZED
Two windows were shot out at Prairie Walk at Cherry Creek, 17335 Nature Walk Trail, sometime between July 12 and 13. The damage was estimated at $2,000.
