Incidents reported by Castle Rock Police

A 21-year-old Castle Rock man was jailed May 23 for allegedly providing two underage girls with liquor. According to a report, police were dispatched to the 400 block of Gilbert Street on a report of underage drinking. Police located the man parked in his car in a parking lot. He later failed a roadside sobriety test, according to the report. Two females, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old, told police the man had invited them over to his house and provided them with alcohol. He was charged with suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and DUI.

Three teenage boys were arrested May 24 after they allegedly attempted to steal some bikes. According to a report, an officer was patrolling the 200 block of South Gilbert Street at around 10:40 p.m. when he saw three kids loading two bikes into the back of a car. After a short foot pursuit, all three teens were caught, according to a report. The bicycles turned out to be stolen and the teens, a 14-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, were all arrested on suspicion of theft, conspiracy to commit theft and second-degree criminal trespass.

Incidents reported by sheriff's office

A door-to-door magazine salesman allegedly urinated on a Parker woman's front porch May 24 after she refused to buy anything from him. According to a report, the 20-year-old Georgia man attempted to sell the woman magazines at her house on the 10100 block of Severn Lane at approximately 9:42 a.m. After she said no, she looked out the window to check if he was gone and noticed a long, wet trail from her baby stroller to her front door. She immediately called police and deputies were able to track the man down. The man, who didn't have a permit to sell magazines, initially denied urinating on the woman's porch but later admitted to it, according to the report. He allegedly said he knew it was "not cool" and doesn't know why he did it. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree criminal tampering, disorderly conduct and failure to register for solicitation.

Several headstones were knocked over sometime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on May 24 at Spring Valley Cemetery, 11950 S. Spring Valley Road, in Larkspur. The groundskeeper reported the vandalism to deputies, according to a report. No damage estimate was given.

An unknown suspect spray painted the word "ninja" on the front entrance sign at Mountain View Elementary School, 8502 N. Pinery Parkway, in Parker sometime between 7 p.m. May 25 and 8 a.m. May 27. The responding deputy stated in his report that he's seen similar graffiti in the area in the past week.
A 59-year-old Castle Rock woman reported that she saw a naked man hanging around her backyard May 27. The woman, who lives on the 600 block of Cliffgate Lane, called police at 10:30 a.m. after she saw the man, according to a report. She yelled at the man to stop but he ran away. Police were not able to locate him, according to the report.

A grocery store employee was issued a summons for unlawful acts after he allegedly sold beer to a minor May 25. According to a report, police conducted a sting operation at Safeway, 560 Castle Pines Parkway, in Castle Pines at about 8 p.m. The officer stated he followed an underage informant through the line as he attempted to purchase beer. An employee of the store, a 22-year-old Monument man, allegedly only asked the youth for his Safeway card and not his identification card, according to the report. After the officer issued him a summons, the man allegedly replied, "bummer."
