Police blotter: structure fire

STRUCTURE FIRE
On Aug. 15 at approximately 5:30 a.m. officers were sent to the 1300 block of Peninsula Court to assist the Castle Rock Fire Department on a confirmed structure fire. The residence was evacuated and the fire extinguished by the fire department. Nobody was injured and the fire is under investigation by Castle Rock Fire Department arson investigators.

THEFT SUSPECT ARRESTED
On Aug. 10 at 11:34 a.m., a citizen reported a suspicious man at Rock Park. It was reported the man was watching people coming and going from the parking area. The man was associated with a green Subaru. Castle Rock investigators previously had released a bulletin regarding suspects in vehicle break-ins and stolen credit cards used from the break-ins. The vehicle and description of the man matched the bulletin. Officers responded to Rock Park and arrested the man.

WARRANT SERVED
On Aug.8 at 5:31 p.m., officers were sent to the 4000 block of Addenbrooke Loop at the request of the Summit County Sheriff's Office. Officers arrested a man at the address on an outstanding warrant.
