Police blotter: Boy hit by car at Metzler's Park

GIRL HARASSED IN GROCERY STORE
At 4:12 p.m. Oct. 12, an officer was dispatched to Safeway, 880 S. Perry St., on a report of a possible harassment. Through investigation, the officer learned a 21-year-old Castle Rock man verbally accosted and threatened a juvenile girl while inside the store. The girl told the officer the man had twice stalked and contacted her within the last 24 hours and he had repeatedly physically threatened her during the past month. The man was arrested on suspicion of harassment, menacing and disorderly conduct and later transported to Douglas County Jail without incident.

3-YEAR-OLD STRUCK BY CAR, RECOVERS
At approximately 6:08 p.m. Oct. 10, officers were dispatched to the baseball fields at Metzler's Park, 4175 Trail Boss Drive, on a report of an a auto-pedestrian accident. It was reported that a 3-year-old boy was struck by a car. The boy was transported to a local hospital where he was evaluated and later released.
