iPod missing from car. A 38-year-old woman was surprised to discover her iPod missing from her car at 10:51 a.m. July 27. The woman's car, which was parked in her garage at her home located on the 1300 block of Rosemary Drive, was believed to be secure throughout the weekend. However, the woman said from the time she last used her iPod on July 25 to when she first noticed it missing on July 27, her garage had been left open while she worked in her yard.
Flags stolen from home. A homeowner reported two flags, a 3-by-5 foot U.S.A. flag and a 4-by-6 foot Department of Navy flag stolen from his home on the 900 block of Mountain View Drive, as reported to police at 7:18 p.m. July 27. The man told officers both flags were attached to his fence out front by the sidewalk, and he believes they were taken sometime overnight. He values the flags at $65.
Money clip, cash stolen. A 40-year-old Castle Rock man reported a theft at the Castle Rock Recreation Center, 2301 Woodlands Blvd., at 5:41 p.m. July 27. The man told officers he placed a money clip, driver's license, credit cards, cell phone and $40 into a locker in the recreation center's family locker room at 10:30 a.m. He said he did not lock the locker. When he returned to the locker about an hour later, his belongings were missing.
Door damaged by burglar. A Castle Rock woman reported July 26 slight damage to the front door of her home located on the 1100 block of Plum Creek Parkway. The woman said she was out of town from July 25 through July 27, and noticed the damage when she returned home. The door was secured with a deadbolt lock and there were no pry marks on it. There was nothing taken from the woman's house.
