Castle Rock Police: Car stolen at Safeway


Wallet stolen from truck.</CF> At 10 a.m. Aug. 10, an 82-year-old man reported his wallet missing from his truck, which was parked in front of his home on the 100 block of Lewis Street in Castle Rock. The man told Castle Rock Police the wallet contained $22, his driver's license and paperwork. He was not sure if the wallet was taken in front of his home or while he parked at McDonald's, located on Park street.

Car stolen at Safeway. After grocery shopping for an hour, a 30-year-old man reported his 2006 Chevrolet Aveo sedan stolen from the Safeway parking lot at 880 S. Perry St., Castle Rock, at 10:10 p.m. Aug. 10. The man said his windows and doors were locked. Castle Rock Police requested surveillance footage from Safeway.
