Ramp closure to begin first week August

The ramp from Plum Creek Parkway to southbound Interstate 25 will be closed for reconstruction for approximately two months beginning Monday, Aug. 4.

While the ramp is closed, drivers will need to use one of the following to access southbound I-25:

  • West I-25 Frontage Road - drive south 7 miles from Plum Creek Parkway to the Tomah Road interchange
  • Wolfensberger Road interchange - 1 mile north of the Plum Creek Parkway Interchange

The estimated reopening date for the new ramp is Sept. 30.

The Town and the Colorado Department of Transportation are working together on the interchange reconstruction. CDOT also is widening northbound and southbound I-25 from two to three lanes between Fifth Street and Douglas Lane/Crystal Valley Parkway.

The interchange reconstruction is part of Castle Rock's Southwest Arterial Connection Road project - one of the three projects in Town's Transportation Action Plan, or TAP.

For more information on all three TAP projects, visit www.CRgov.com and click the TAP Update icon on the right side of the page.

Those with questions about the Southwest Arterial Connection Road project can contact Engineering Manager Chuck Childs, 720-733-2487 or cchilds@CRgov.com.
