Randy Reed is a candidate in District 2 for Castle Rock Town Council. He's running unopposed. YourHub.com asked him to respond to a questionnaire about his interests and local issues. Elections will be held April 1.

Randy A. Reed

Age: 59

My family: Married 39 years to Hattie Reed; daughters Hillary Reed and Rachel Nance. One grandchild, Radley Nance.

Education: BBA Marketing

What I do: Own and operate two custom picture frame stores, Fastframe of Greenwood Village and Fastframe of Castle Rock.

My favorite place in town to hang out: Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course.

What I like most about living here: The small-town atmosphere.

My interests and hobbies: Golf and traveling around Mexico.

My favorite thing to cook: Lime soup

People who inspired me (and how): Successful business entrepreneurs.

How I have contributed to the community: Currently, serving the community being on the town council. Also, membership and involvement with the Castle Rock Chamber.

The biggest issues facing Castle Rock now: Water, economic growth and transportation.

Why I am running: To continue being involved in the direction and future of Castle Rock as a full service, stand alone community and to help preserve the small-town atmosphere.
