Castle Rock mayor among Leadership graduates

Castle Rock mayor among graduates of Leadership Program of the Rockies

Castle Rock Mayor Randy Reed was among 59 Coloradans who graduated June 12 from the Leadership Program of the Rockies, America's premier institute to develop, strengthen, train and equip emerging leaders to reach new heights.

Popular syndicated talk show host, Hugh Hewitt, was the keynote speaker offering advice to the class of graduates, alumni and supporters at the event held at the Wildlife Experience in Douglas County. LPR Chairman Bob Schaffer presided over the ceremonies and handed each graduate a diploma.

LPR identifies and brings together emerging leaders from the legal, economic, business, university, and political, nonprofit and civic professions to learn how visionary, principle-centered leadership can positively impact their community. LPR provides a thorough education and grounding for emerging leaders on the principles of American civilization - free enterprise; the rule of law; a vigorous national defense; free speech, limited government - that will continue to be the basis for our prosperity, freedom and well-being in the decades ahead.

Application information for the 2009-2010 class can be found at www.leadershipprogram.org.
