Hearing set for murder suspect

A Denver man accused of murdering Castle Rock realtor Henry Blair will face a preliminary hearing May 29 and 30.

Warren Worthington, who was arrested Jan. 13 by Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies, faces charges of first-degree murder after deliberation, according to Kathleen Walsh, with the 18th Judicial District. His hearing will be held at the Douglas County court house.

In the hearing, the judge will decide whether there is probable cause to move forward with charges, Walsh said. If so, the case will move forward to an arraignment.

Blair, 61, was found dead next to his SUV on Jan. 6 at the intersection of Interstate 25 and Happy Canyon Road in Castle Pines. A report found that Blair was stabbed and run over.

After an intensive investigation, Worthington was arrested at a gentleman's club in Adams County. The sheriff's office said Blair and Worthington were involved in a landlord-tenant relationship.
