Betty Cox is a candidate for Castle Rock Town Council in District 7. YourHub.com asked her to respond to a questionnaire about her interests and local issues.
My name
: Betty Cox

Education
: Attended Citrus College, CA. University of Santa Cruz, and Continuing
Education for Public Employees (CEPO)
What I do
: Election Consultant
My favorite place in town to hang out
: No special place
What I like most about living here
: Quiet - Family Atmosphere, and the beauty of walking outdoors.
My interests and hobbies
: Politics
My favorite thing to cook

People who inspired me (and how):
A friend and co-worker stood up for what she believed and she lost her job because of her decision. She was elected to City Council (I helped her with her campaign) and she did more for the city as a councilperson than she did as a City Clerk. She is trust worthy, has integrity and does what she says she will do.
How I have contributed to the community
: Election Commissioner and Community Volunteer
The biggest issues facing Castle Rock now
: Transportation and Support for Fire Dept.
Why I am running
: I want to make a difference. I want to see projects completed. I want to see new businesses come to this Town.
