Work to cause closures at East Plum Creek Trail
Contributed by: Town of Castle Rock on 6/18/2008

The widening of Interstate 25 from Fifth Street south to Douglas Lane/Crystal Valley Parkway will cause closures on the East Plum Creek Trail under I-25 between now and December 2009.

The first closures should be brief and are tentatively scheduled to take place June 25 and 30.

Subsequent closures will be announced as they occur at www.CRgov.com/parks. Click Open Space and Trails on the left-side menu, and look under East Plum Creek Trail - Downtown for any updates.

Closures, which the contractor will try to keep to evening hours, also will be announced via signs at entrances to and along the trail and by flaggers posted on the trail.

Closures typically will last only a day. However, some longer closures lasting up to a week could occur. Check the Web site for updates.

Those with questions can contact Town Trails Planner Rich Havel, 720-733-4482 or rhavel@CRgov.com.
