Emergency pothole repairs close a lane of I-25

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is closing one lane of southbound Interstate 25 in Castle Rock today for emergency manhole repairs.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., I-25 will be reduced to one lane, beginning just south of the Plum Creek Interchange and continuing south about one mile. Extensive delays are expected - alternate routes are advised.
The closure is expected to continue through mid-afternoon today. CDOT will send out an advisory when work is completed and both lanes are open to traffic.
