Updated Information for Douglas County:
The Chaparral High School shelter that is located in Parker, Colorado has been closed. The shelter that is located at the Douglas County Fairgrounds (Kirk Hall) in Castle Rock, Colorado is still open.

Roadways that are currently closed in Douglas County are as follows:
HWY 86 east to I-70 from Castle Rock, CO
I-25 from Lincoln Avenue South to Colorado Springs Colorado
Hwy 83 south from Russellville Road to South County Line Road

As roadways become open, we will notify the public as soon as possible. We are still asking citizens to not travel unless necessary due to the roadway conditions throughout the county.
