Castle Rock isn't the only town around here to sport a "Holiday Star". Palmer Lake has one of their own, on the hill right above the town.

This photo is actually two, taken last night (Dec. 26) using a Canon 20D on a tripod, 24-105 lens set at 40mm. Both exposures were at f9.0, 30 seconds each. They were then stitched together in Photoshop to create this panoramic view.
