Some more photos of prairie wildflowers
Contributed by: Michael Rule on 7/21/2007

Since High School (which was decades ago!) I have photographed wildflowers. I find it relaxing and challenging at the same time.

The prairies and foothills of Douglas County offer an incredible variety of wildflowers. For a guy like me, living here in the southern part of the county is heaven.

This has been a bonus year for wildflowers and their fans. Here are a few photographs I have taken obver the last month or so. All were shot in Douglas County, most near my home or at the Greenland/Spruce Mtn. Open Spaces.

If you like wildflowers, I urge you to get out and explore. The display continues, and we might not see a year like this again for awhile!

Hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoy taking them!

Mick(ey) (oops, that slipped)...my favorite is the field of Tall Penstemon. As a Michigander, I'm very envious of your Colorado landscapes! Great pics, as always! ~Sandy (Cushman) Howell

Mickey: More great flower pictures! Can't even find anything to complain about. The hare bells are my favorite. LOL Momma
