Caleb Honey, of Castle Rock, went to his first game on Friday September 28th 2007. His dad, Chris Honey got a free ticket from a friend on a sold out game.
The two of them were so excited to go, being Caleb's first game. They took the light rail from the Lincoln station, mind you this was Caleb's first light rail ride also.
"Choo Choo" he said the entire way downtown, and became so excited when another train came to pass by. They get to Coors Field, as they walk in Caleb's face lights up from all the people and the energy.
As they are approching their seats, they stopped, got a hot dog and some peanuts and continued to their seats. Caleb is 20 months old, that child did not move from there seats, he stood at the railing and watched the entire game.
For you parents who have or have had a child at any function know that is almost impossible! He patiently waited for the fireworks and gave dad a smile right before they started.
Since he's been home from the game that is all he wants to watch on TV asking daddy "When Go Daddy". So thank goodness the Rockies have made it to the playoffs.
We can buy some more time watching it on TV!
