Some photos of Castle Rock

I try to get out every winter and take a photo or 2 of Castle Rock with the star lit up. I've been doing it for years now. Some of them have been good, some just average. I think the first one rates right up there in the middle of the average (can we say mediocre?) offerings.

Still, the airplane flying by looks like a meteor or something, so that's kinda cool.
.
For now, this will have to work. I give it a 3 star.
.
The wind was blowing pretty good, which caused a bit of camera shake, so this photo won't be getting on any walls anytime soon. Exposures were all around 20 seconds at, I believe, f 8.
.
I actually like the 2nd one best, with the trees providing a little foreground interest.
The 3rd photo is okay, in my opinion, nothing special, but what the heck, right?
I took these from one of the new subdivisions going up off of Crowfoot Rd. a couple of days ago.

I give your stars five stars, Michael. By the way, have you seen that link of stars that is almost alligned? Dunno what it's called. A friend just said they are supposed to allign in 2012.

I didn't know the star was still there. I remember the star when I was a young punk.
