Sometimes black and white conveys a feeling that ordinary color photographs just can't match. Ask any hardcore photographer; there is something about a B & W photo that brings out a special mood.In this week's photos I am attempting to do just that.
.
The first one is one of my favorite subjects, and one that was in last week's pics: the old school house at Spring Valley Road and Lorrainne Road. There is something about the place I just love.
.
The second photo is the moon rise over the high prairie, just a short distance away.
.
The third photo is taken at the Spring Valley Cemetery. The wind was blowing quite intensely, and the flags waving over the graves of veterans seemed a bit melancholy out there in the midst of all that openness, with the clouds blowing in and night falling.
Next week we'll be in Mexico, so I think I can safely say there should be a change of scenery for the next week of photos!
