Helicopter drops eggs-aplenty for Easter hunt

The chilly wind did not stop hundreds of kids from descending on Bison Park in Castle Rock the morning of April 11 to participate in the Egg Drop Easter egg hunt. About 40,000 eggs were dropped from a helicopter to be gathered by the children below.

The event was sponsored by Plum Creek Community Church, 3960 Limelight Ave., Castle Rock.
