A great place to volunteer -- TWCFOC
Contributed by: Lorrie Hastings on 10/2/2006

TWCFOC is short for The Women's Crisis and Family Outreach Center. This center helps so many women and children that have found themselves at a terrible time in their life. Often, they have no other place to go to and I just thank God that the center is there to be a safe answer to a horrible problem.

Stacey, Jennifer and the entire staff are so kind to us volunteers that we just can't help but do whatever we can. But there is no pressure, you can do as little or as much as you want and I encourage anyone that is looking for a great way to help out in the community to go to www.thewomenscrisiscenter.organd find out how to get involved either by volunteering or donating to one of the many fundraisers that must be held.

The fundraising must be ongoing, as the need is ongoing. At this time, there is a need for a larger shelter and that costs loads of money. I just hope that by writing this, funds and volunteers will go to TWCFOC because unfortunately, it is needed.
