My Favorite Horse Rescue Charity - Trail of Hope
Do you work, have a family and take care of pets? You always wish that you could do more, and maybe do better?
There are some people who care about animals so much that they also take care of animals that haven't quite found their place in life yet. These animals have been abused or neglected. Trail of Hope is a refuge and a Godsend for some lucky horses.
These horses get a second chance at life.
What makes Trail of Hope stand out is the excellent care and attention they give each horse they rescue. Every horse has shelter with it's own stall and run plus daily pasture turnout. Each horse is handled every day with grooming, training or just quiet time with a person to help build back their trust. With love, care and training these horses will get another shot at having a home and finding mutual trust with a human partner.
When you visit Trail of Hope, you breathe a little sigh of relief for these horses, for you know they are safe and will be cared for. Everything is so well organized and taken care of, from each horse's grooming tools, the turnout schedule, the organization of the volunteers, and the obvious well being of the horses. Trail of Hope also educates its volunteers and the community on how to properly care for horses.
My neighbor,
Connie, has adopted
Starbuck, now a thriving beautiful buckskin who almost had starved to death. Trail of Hope rescued him and helped restore his trust in people.
Trail of Hope is doing a great service for our community in setting an example of a high standard of kindness and care. Please reward them with one of your grants. They deserve it, and could really use the reward to continue their good works.
