Brannigan's Irish House
, the new Irish themedBar/Restaurant that opened at 310 Wilcox Street in the heart of Castle Rock, might as well be a pub in Ireland with its antique furnishings. You just have to see thedecor and the unique food presentationserved on long, rectangular dishes. The walls are covered in newspapers from 1932 Ireland and the American and Irish flags are displayed prominently in the courtyard section of the restaurant. A "blacksmith shop" offers room for seating along with many private tables. Waitress Sarah Downing has been waiting tables in the 6 week old restaurant since it first opened. "It's a fun place to work and the reubens aresuper good", she said. On St. Patty'sDay there will be Irish music and dance, and of course, asalways, a full bar including Irish beer.
Castle Rock's new Irish restaurant is owned by Philip and Lorraine Donaghy who have started and run several other Irish themed restaurants in the south Metro area including Smugglers Cove, the Auld Dubliner, and Fiddlesticks Irish Pub in addition to Brannigans. If you want to travel to Ireland without having to make a long plane flight, go to Brannigan's Irish House.

Great place, was there about 5-1-06, very Irish but really like you are there in Ireland yourself. Great service and great looks inside, very very cozy! Some tables overlook sidewalk like streets from windows above the lower level, very very cool! Erin Go Brah
