Corie Goodson and sweeteners
Contributed by: Bruce Laubach on 8/4/2005

The first time I read the article by Ms. Goodson, I thought it was just too silly to deserve response.  After thinking it over, I decided it deserved at least a small comment:  Chloride and chlorine are not the same (think sodium chloride - normal table salt);  chlorine is not a "known carcinogen."  It is a highly toxic gas, used as a weapon in WW I  and also an anti-bacterial agent in virtually every swimming pool.  A "health educator" is exactly what?  In this case, not educated in the issue she chose to discuss.
