Dear voters,

You have received your ballots. You have seen the campaign signs. You may have even visited candidate websites.

To those of you who have not yet decided for whom you will vote in the school board race in district A, I am writing to ask for your vote.

I am running for the school board because I believe our schools can do an even better job of preparing our kids to compete in the global economy. I earned my Master's Degree in Education Policy from Harvard, and I know that by having high standards and accountability, and by giving our schools the flexibility to achieve those standards, our schools can become the envy of the nation.

I have had the privilege of serving the voters of Highlands Ranch for the last three years on the Metro District, the local government of Highlands Ranch. I would like to now serve the voters of Douglas County on the school board.

I am honored to have been endorsed by both Frank McNulty, our Republican State Representative, as well as his Democratic opponent in the last election, Allen Dreher. I also have the support of Sheriff Weaver, Commissioner Boand, State Senator Harvey, and our State Board of Education member.

But the endorsement I would like the most is yours. If elected, I will commit myself to fighting for the parents and students of Douglas County, ensuring that our tax dollars are spent wisely. If entrusted with your vote, I will not let you down.

Ryan's degree from Harvard is in EDUCATION POLICY. How does this not make him knowledgeable about education? You make it sound as if Ryan's "true agenda" is something malicious. From everything I have heard and read his "true agenda" is to be an advocate for the students in Douglas County.

I am so tired of hearing how much you know about education because you have a degree from Harvard. When was the last time you actually spent time in the classroom working with students? You made it clear at the School Board Forum what your true agenda is so why does your website not state all your opinions that you gave that night. You are very misleading.
