Procopio a proven dynamic leader

I am writing this letter to endorse Joe Procopio (Joe Pro) for Castle Rock's Town Council, District Seven.
I have known Joe for nearly ten years, knowledge initiated through professional association and continuing on through a resulting good and genuine friendship.
There is no one I believe, more eminently qualified to serve the best interests of the citizens of our community than Mr. Procopio. A graduate of four colleges (as well as having taken courses at three others); he is highly intelligent, a proven dynamic leader and a dedicated mentor to many individuals, past and present, young and old.
After reading his biography, the proof is manifested in living color! A retired Naval officer, he has led a team through the jungles of Cambodia, swum across the Amazon, walked across the equator, met with princes and presidents, been honored by our government as well as foreign governments, spoken to foreign parliamentarians, and testified to congressional committees.
It is evident this man is truly an amazing individual, not only by what he has done, but also by who he is.
Yet for all his accomplishments, he can truly be described as an incredibly "down to earth", humble and very people-oriented person. Not only I, but my children as well, have come to know him through his teaching and coaching at various schools within Douglas County.
They idolize him. They have come to trust and rely on him, as have a large number of other young people within our community, seeking his discreet, yet solid advice and wisdom; a reliable and trustworthy source whenever parents and other teachers (too often!) are just not enough.
I can earnestly and honestly say, this man is truly an individual of high moral character, unsurpassed energy, a wealth of knowledge, and an overall true and highly dependable dear friend.
Since arriving in Castle Rock from the East Coast over 12 years ago (where Joe ran many successful business ventures), he has devoted the majority of his time and energies to extensive and meaningful volunteer work within the Douglas County schools and the Castle Rock community, sincerely caring and impacting all whom he encounters, truly making a difference.
I urge you to cast your vote for a man of ability and integrity, Mr. Joe Procopio, for our Castle Rock Town Council. He far surpasses all normal expectations and is just what this community needs to truly flourish.
