Bailey versus Palumalo. Plummer versus Rothlisberger. Mountains versus Steel. The Broncos and Steelers seem to be balanced on many levels. But, for two of the NFL's blue-collar favorite teams, it will come down to the coach and the fans to decide the AFC Champion and by extension, the Super Bowl victors.

Shanahan holds the edge as the Mastermind, and has the experience to prove it. Managing to maintain a low profile during the regular season, Shanahan has put together a confident, hard working team capable of winning it all. Pittsburgh's Cowher can only carry a team so far on amped emotions.

But the real difference will the "12th man", the Broncos fans. They clearly played an important role in dismantling the storied Patriots "dynasty". The mania of the Broncos fans will provide the extra boost the Broncos will need to overcome the Steelers in such a closely contested match.
