Cottrell named All-American

Jimmy Cottrell, of Castle Rock, has been named a strength and conditioning All-American by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Cottrell, a senior linebaker for the New Mexico State Aggies, is the nation's leading tackler in the 2005 season, set the school record with 179 tackles and was named to the All-WAC First Team and was selected as an Honorable Mention All-American by Sports Illustrated.com. He concluded his career as the only player in program history to ever lead the Aggies in tackles four years in a row.
