"I have been recruiting both Jenna and Molly for quite some time and I really believe that they are going to add a lot of depth and competitiveness to our team," quoted Stender. "They each are driven, hard working, well rounded student-athletes that I think will be able to make an immediate impact. The fact that we have two highly talented golfers committed to our program says a lot about the direction Cowgirl Golf is headed."

Molly Black is a 5' 5" senior at Summit High School in Bend, Ore. She played on the 2006 America's Cup Team, representing Oregon, and also represented her home state in the Trusted Choice Big I National Championship. In 2005 Black placed second at the girls PNGA Championship and this last year she participated in the 2006 Junior World Championship in San Diego, again representing the state of Oregon.

According to Stender, "Molly is one of the most highly decorated golfers to come out of the Pacific Northwest this year and I am so glad she chose the Cowgirls. She is a very mature player who has competed on the highest level during her junior golf career."

Molly has lettered three years in golf at Summit H.S. and will compete in her senior season this spring. She is a three-year All-District and All-State selection, and led her team to the class 4A Oregon state title in 2006. Black is an excellent student who has earned numerous academic accolades, including Academic All-State for three years. She is the daughter of Gordon and Rosalie Black, and has five siblings.

Black chose to attend Wyoming over Oregon, Gonzaga and Fresno State.

Jenna Zamprelli is a 5' 7" senior at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colo. An accomplished junior golfer, Zamprelli placed sixth at the Colorado State High School 5A tournament as a junior and tied for tenth as a sophomore, earning All-State honors both years. She played in the 2006 U.S. Girls Junior Championship, the women's 2006 Colorado Open and placed seventh at the CWGA Junior Stroke Play Championship as a junior.

"Jenna is a great addition to the Wyoming golf program because she brings a real enthusiasm and passion for the game," said Stender. "She comes from an athletic family background and along with her national playing experience she knows what it takes to be successful on the collegiate level."

A three-year high school letterwinner in golf and swimming, Zamprelli also earned varsity letters in each sport as an eighth grader in Rio Rancho, N.M. A school record holder and state qualifier in swimming, she is in the midst of her senior swimming season for Douglas County and will compete in her senior season for golf this spring. Jenna is one of two children of Paul and Debbie Zamprelli and has a younger sister, Dana.

Zamprelli was also recruited by Colorado State and New Mexico, among others
