The 2007 Regional & 5A Co-Ed State Champions, also known as the Douglas County High School Varsity Coed Cheer team,will be Huskie-ing Off to Orlando, Florida, on February 7th to compete in the UCA National Championship.

This team, consisting of Carlene Andersen, Andie Azofeifa, Morgan Ballinger, Kyle Eller, Lisa Fikany, Renae Golden, Shayne Henry, Zacharia Hopkins, Alex Janssen, Paige LeFevre, Ryan Leonard,Callea Mahagan, Natalie Marusin, Bri McKenna, Talia Pelley, Tara Proctor, Mica Seybold, Paige Smith, Caitlin Vaughn, Kristen Weatherly, Hope Wellman, Katie Wilson, John Woodrick and the coaches, Nicole Gambatese and Jon Baran, wish to express their appreciation to the local Castle Rock and surrounding area businesses for their support.

Best of luck to the Douglas County Co-Ed Cheers at UCA Nationals. You have worked very hard to attain the success you had this year, winning Nationals would be the frosting on the cake.

A Huge Thank You to all of our sponsors for your support in helping our 5A Co-ed Varsity Cheer State Champions on thier journey to Orlando to compete in the UCA National Championship. We are so excited and proud of these kids. Congratulations Douglas County Varsity Co-ed Cheers and thier AWESOME coaches. You have taken all of us on a journey of a lifetime and we are forever greatful. GOOD LUCK HUSKIES!! A very proud cheer mom and aunt.
