Sitting in the Milk House at Disney with 30,000 screaming cheerleaders at the UCA National Championships is something every person should try at least once in their lifetime. Seriously...

The Douglas County High School Varsity Coed Cheerleaders are proudly one of the six teams out of thirty from Colorado that made it to the finals at the UCA National Championships in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, February 9th. This team ended up placing 12th in the finals. A very respectful placing for a first time showing.

If you would like to see the performances of the DCHS cheer team and other teams at Nationals go to www.varsity.com, click on NHSCC for photos and videos, click on Small Coed. You can then click on Douglas County High School to see a picture of the cheer's performance or click on Video Webcast and in the Search block type in Douglas County High School and then enjoy watching the perfomances.

The quality performances of the teams at Nationals was just amazing and a blast to watch. These kids work all year in preparation of this three minute event.

Way to go Douglas County Varsity Coed Cheerleaders and Coaches for this accomplishment along with all of your successes throughout the year!
