South Suburban on Target with 50-cent Fun

Gear up for a summer full of great golf and hit a bucket of balls for only 50¢ on Friday, June 19. South Suburban Parks and Recreation is celebrating the grand re-opening of the Family Sports Center Golf Driving Range, 6901 S. Peoria St., in Centennial, after nearly $900,000 total improvements. Attendees can enjoy 50¢ range balls from 11am-7 pm on the renovated range. A 12 pm ribbon cutting ceremony followed by light refreshments, giveaways and food and beverage specials round out the grand re-opening activities.

South Suburban is extending the June 19 celebration to include 50¢ public skating and 50¢ skate rental at 10 am, 1 pm and 8 pm; plus 50¢ kiddie rides all day, 10-10:30 pm at the Family Sports Entertainment Center adjacent to the Golf Driving Range.

South Suburban is commemorating its 50 th Anniversary with a series of 50¢ Fridays. Visit www.sspr.org for dates and other exciting 50 th anniversary celebration activities.
