Why I'm a Rockies fan The original copy
I'm a Rockies fan because the Rockies always give it their best and when things look a little bad, who cares. It's only a game. When Garret Atkins was playing 1st he made an error when the ball went threw his legs. So in the dugout, Jorge De La Rosa went over and talked to him to calm him down a bit. That really inspires me because since I'm 10, I think I could do that to some of my teammates cause when they make an error, they get really sad and think they did not do a very good job and think they ruined it for us.
Another thing I like the Rockies for is that they have good sportsman ship. I think if you have bad sportsman ship, you won't do as well as you can and you try too hard, compete against everyone (including you teammates) and you won't just let it be a game. If you try too hard you will never get it right. You might the first, second and/or third but you eventually won't get it again. Another reason I think it is not good to have bad sportsman ship is when a teammate hits a homer that put you in the lead or something like that and you don't congratulate them, that can make them sad or mad then they might have bad sportsman ship to. Then they do it to another teammate and then it trails and your whole entire team does it, and that is not good.
Next, I also like the Rockies because I've lived in Colorado my whole life. But that's not all. I like what they do off the field. The Rockies do camps and help kids learn how to play and have fun. Like the camp Todd Helton is doing, and the camp where the kids can meet Ryan Spillborgs, Jeff Frances, and a couple more, a place they can just hang out and have a little fun. All in all, that is why I'm a Rockies fan.
