Dolphin Purple, Gold play to 5-5 tie

In a 9 yr. old single A game at Douglas County Fairgrounds Sunday, April 20, Dolphin Purple and Dolphin Gold played to a 5-5 tie.

It was a tight game all the way, and came down to the very last play. Jason Atwood of Dolphin Purple knocked in Brandon Finley to tie the game with no time remaining.

Withtwo outs and a runner on third, Kelley Hema smashed a line drive to first that was snagged by Wyatt Henderson of Dolphin Gold to end the game and preserve the tie. Thetwo teams will meet again on Saturday, May 3, at 3 p.m.
