eMedia2Go: FREE audiobooks, video & music

Why pay when you can download for free at DouglasCountyLibraries.org?

Douglas County Libraries now offers eMedia2Go, an online web page brimming with downloadable video, music and audiobooks from OverDrive, NetLibrary, Alexander Street Press, and Smithsonian Global Sounds. Library patrons can download from the comfort of home on a PC or laptop, and transfer the materials to a wide range of portable devices.

Don't have an Mp3 player? Douglas County Libraries offers Playaways, a palm-sized unit, that comes pre-loaded with an audiobook. Half the size of a deck of cards, Playaways are available for children, teens and adults.

A current library card, always free, is needed to download at eMedia2Go, or to borrow the Playaways. Get your card at any Douglas County Library or online at GetaCard.org.For more information, call 303-791-READ or visit DouglasCountyLibraries.org.
