All Men Suck Because.......

There is a common belief that all men suck. As a man, I will give you that a lot of men do in fact suck. Lets be honest though, a lot of woman suck as well.
Here's the deal when you are dealing with people:most people live their lives searching for the hidden thing(s) that will make them happy. Quite frequently they aren't able to find that "thing," sometimes inthe case of women, because they have a run in with a "dreaded man." This causes women to believe all men suck, when in fact women need to realize the thing they are searching for sometimes doesn't actually exist.
Here's what people (men and women) need to understand: We all live our lives thinking everyone else is living the dream, when in fact only a small percentage actually ever achieve their dreams. Therefore, we walk around acting happy, when in fact we are not feeling happy inside.
The fact of the matter is, people want to be around otherswho are interested in them and their dreams. How do you show someone you care about their beliefs? A lot of people would say you show this by listening. Let me be honest with you, me sitting within earshot of a conversation does not mean I am listening. It simply means I was present when a conversation took place. If you truly want to show someone that you care about their feelings, you need to ensure you are not only listening, but also analyzing what they are saying. How do you show them you've analyzed what they are saying? By giving constructive responses when they are done speaking. This is the easiest way to show someone you care. Try it sometime and let me know how it works for you.
One other thing. When you make statements like "all man suck," you are simply givingus guys an easy excuse. Because we know we are only expected to be "dogs," then we never have any real motivation to be better than we are.

"All (fill in the blank) suck" is a sweeping generalization usually spoken in anger or frustration. You make good points. However, not one of us has to live down to low expectations from others. We are each free to live according to our expectations of ourselves, high or low.
