Children* Learning Disabilities* Success
Before Havern, my second grader said to me, "Mom,I might as well drop out of school now because I cant read and I'm too stupid to learn." Kids with Learning Disabilities have been labeled in the past as Lazy and Dumb. I'm here to tell you that they are neither Lazy nor Dumb and that there is a little piece of Heaven on earth that understands our children and can educate them to their maximum potential; Please give me the opportunity to introduce you to our school, Havern. Havern was founded in 1966 and has established a legacy of successfully educating children with learning disabilities. Kids from 7 different counties attend Havern. Havern has highly individualized education with a multisensory focus on instruction, attention kids need with their 4:1 student to staff ratio and small class sizes of 9 to 15 students. They have on site speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, counselors, a computer lab, library, gym with climbing wall, drama class, yoga and many after school activities including, choir, scouts, lego club, middle school homework club, ski club, soccer club and student council. After one year at Havern my son was making comments like "I love school! How long can I go to Havern? They help me to learn the way I can." Havern was a God-send for our family and it can also be for you and your child. THEIR KIND AND CARING STAFF AND COMMUNITY CAN AND DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! If you want more information about Havern please visit the web site www.haverncenter.org
