Tancredo's Other Issues

For the past couple of months, I have been receiving a daily email from Google News with any articles that mention Tom Tancredo. As everyone knows, Tom Tancredo has decided to make immigration his number one issue. But form looking at the news clippings I receive, it seems to be his ONLY issue.

To be honest, there was a couple of articles on another issue: his leasing of cars as allowed by Congress. Apparently, he spends quite a bit of money on vehicle leases and is near the top of the big spenders list. Tom's only reply was that he is not required to provide any more information or justification and he won't.

So, I guess the only conclusion is that immigration IS his only issue. This is unfortunate since in a recent poll (online and non-scientific), only 3.88% of respondents in CD6said that immigration was the most important issue.

If Tom Tancredo is our representative, shouldn't he at least mention issues like the war, health care, the economy, and education, since those issues are of mosre concern to most of us?

To me, I guess it is obvious. Tom Tancredo isn't running an election for CD6 Representative, he is running an electioin for senate and/or president in 2008. I think he views 2006, as a warmup. I also think that CD6 deserves better and we should elect someone that is concerned with more than one issue and isn't secretly planning on spending a majhority of his time in office campaigning for a different job.
