Godfrey’s campaign issues focus on an “integrated-priority” budgetary program emphasizing state health care, improvements to the state educational system and the revitalization of Colorado’s economy. “My campaign is about putting people first,” Godfrey states. “We face tough budgetary constraints but our well-ordered priorities and our refusal to bow to special interest will provide clearer thinking and more benefit to a greater number of Coloradans.” Godfrey is a former Air Force officer, a pilot, and chemical engineer, as well as a husband and father of two daughters attending Littleton public schools. He has served as an expert consultant to Denver television stations and newspapers in the aftermath of local air disasters. Godfrey is also an accomplished oil painter, and his distinctive Colorado landscapes are on view at Galleries Extraordinaire in Cherry Creek.
