What:
The South Suburban Community Orchestra will have its fourth concert this season on Friday, May 16, 2008, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 251 E. Sterne Blvd., in Centennial.
Orchestra member and 12-year-old cello soloist, Kelcey Howell will perform Haydn's Cello Concerto in C, accompanied by the orchestra. A special piece will be played: "Hurricane", composed by another orchestra member, André Hut. Also on the program are Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 (the Scottish Symphony) and Tschaikovsky's 1812 Overture. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and there is a $5 suggested donation.
