Denver Tech Center Rotary Club installs officers

The Denver Tech Center Rotary Club installed officers for the 2007-2008 Rotary year on Tuesday, June 26 at Glenmoor Country Club. Under the leadership of Kelley Evans, newly installed president, the club will continue to focus its efforts on bringing clean water and good health to people around the world. Club projects include supporting the distribution of bio-sand water filters to families in the Dominican Republic, paying teacher salaries at a school for the deaf and providing lunches at a school for children whose lack of birth certificates prevents them from getting a formal education. Club members also volunteer at Shots for Tots immunization sessions.

For more information about the club, please visit the DTC Rotary website at http://www.dtcrotary.org/ or contact Bob Steiert at rsteiert@comcast.net.
